"At-Home" Activities

We love our Life Groups and a chance to connect in a smaller setting with other families in our church. In partnership with Pastor Jason, Family Life Group Guides are provided to assist deeper learning at a more developmentally appropriate level for our younger Life Group members (younger elementary and upper elementary).

Print these Family Life Group Guides from the link below or pick them up at the Children's Ministry desk in the foyer (when we return to church).  They also make great family devotions!

Easter At-Home

"Family-Time" Challenge

We can celebrate Easter every day! Pick a topic, then set aside time as a family to read the included passage together, then choose an attached craft to do as a family. Click on the titles to see the crafts and devotion.

  • The Lil' Donkey

Choose from three projects (or do all three) and discuss how God provided a donkey for Jesus to ride into Jerusalem. Talk about how God is providing for your family?

Garden of Gethsemane & The Easter Account

Checkout three different projects to prepare little hearts for the death and resurrection of Christ. Make a popup Garden of Gethsemane and discuss the importance of prayer. As a family make a cross with fingerprints from your entire family. Also experience the entire Easter account with Resurrection Easter Eggs.

He’s Alive Sunrise & The Empty Tomb

Start with painting or coloring a beautiful sunrise that shines through cross silhouettes and ponder the death of Jesus. Then celebrate Jesus rising from the dead with a salt dough empty tomb or Resurrection Rolls (or both!).

Happy Easter!

As a family, enjoy this delightful story about Sam learning to truly accept Jesus' gift of forgiveness.

Also join the fun and make your own Sparkle Egg. Post your picture of your Sparkle Egg on Lazy Mountain Bible Church's  and The Sparkle Egg's Facebook pages with the #TheSparkleEgg. If you don't have Facebook, email your picture to hannah@lzymtn.com.
