Jr. Youth Ministries

(Ages 11-13 as of 8/15/18)

The purpose of the Lazy Mountain Bible Church Junior High Youth ministry is to exalt Jesus Christ by reaching the lost teens with the Gospel of Jesus and discipling the young believers to the person of Jesus.

Fall Schedule:

Junior High Youth Sunday School classes meets at 9:15 a.m. in Room #15.

Junior High Youth meets on Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Swanson Elementary Gym (507 N Gulkana Street, Palmer).

Children’s Ministries

The goal of Lazy Mountain Bible Church’s Children’s ministry for ages 0-10 is to raise children in the knowledge of the Lord, surround them with the love of their church family, and lead them to love their Savior, Jesus Christ. Children’s Ministry Schedule for September – May

Sunday Children’s Ministry Schedule

9:15 a.m. Service

  • Nursery for *0-35 months.
  • Sunday School for ages *2-10.

11:00 a.m. Service

  • Nursery for *0-35 months.
  • Toddler Worship for ages *3-5.
  • Children’s bulletins and dry erase boards are available for ages 6-12.


Wednesdays Children’s Ministry Schedule

Awana meets during the school year.  It will begin on Wednesday, September 12th. There will be classes available for children ages 4-10. Beginning at 6:20 p.m. there will be snacks available and the Bible Verse Tables will be open. Opening time is in the sanctuary at 6:40 p.m. The evening will end with parent pick-up at 8:00 p.m.

Children’s Choir

Children’s Choir will meet for only 5 weeks this fall during the months of November and December in preparation to sing at Christmas time. Children’s choir will be held on Wednesday nights, November 7th through December 12th, 6:00-6:30 p.m.


Please stop by the Children’s Welcome Desk to register** your children ages 10 and under, as well as pick up information about each class and teacher. We can’t wait to meet you!

*All children ages Birth-10 (age as of 8/15/18) need to be registered the first Sunday they attend.

GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a loved one.  It meets for 12 weeks to help individuals face the challenges and confusion of feeling isolated, and the questions you may not have faced before.  GriefShare moves individuals toward rebuilding their lives.  New groups will begin as needed.  Each evening is a self-contained discussion, and you can join at any time.

Currently there is not a GriefShare group meeting. Please call the church office, 907-745-2611, to place your name on a list to be contacted when a GriefShare group is scheduled.

Missing Link (College Age)

The Missing Link is a group of young adults mostly between the ages of 18-25.  Currently the Missing Link is not meeting during the summer months. To keep up with their activities and to be informed when they will resume, please find them on Facebook.

Youth In Training

Equipping Tomorrows Leaders for Leadership Today

Youth In Training is a course designed to train and equip our present and future church leaders and teachers. Adults are encouraged to attend the classes as well. To join the Youth In Training classes a student must be age 11 by August 15th.

How to connect with kids of all ages
Sharing the Gospel
Sharing your testimony

How to help a teacher

The goal of this conference is to equip young people for ministry, to best of our ability, for the glory of God. This course is designed to put ministry tools into the hands of our teachers and young people so they can minister to the body of Christ to the best of their abilities.
