Women’s Advance:

“Doing Life Together,” is the theme of Women’s Advance. These events are scheduled the first Saturday of the month, October through May.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a proven ministry and outreach to mother of young children in our community.  Meetings will be twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday mornings, September through May.

65 Alive

The Women’s 65 Alive group meets on the third Wednesday of each month (September through April) for a time of fellowship.  They typically share a “themed” luncheon and have a speaker.  65 Alive meets at the church beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Women Ministering to Women Prison Ministry

JoyKeepers

A time of fellowship and encouragement for women who are widows. JoyKeepers meets monthly, typically the second Wednesday of the month. Meeting location changes monthly.

Women’s Studies

Your circumstances and conditions are not coincidental in the journey. God’s timing is impeccable. Join Beth Moore on the Thessalonica shores as you face real crises, real medical conditions, real affliction, real relationships, real doubts, real concerns and real fears. This study is nine weeks long and will be facilitated by Marlin Prins, meeting in her home on Tuesday evenings beginning September 10th at 7:00 p.m. Books are $15 and are available from Marlin. “The Armor of God”: This Bible Study by Priscilla Shirer will bring to light the war around you and challenge you to suit up, stand firm, and secure victory in your life. Donna Embree will be facilitating and it will meet on Monday, beginning Monday, September 30th, through the end of October and resume again in January. “Life Management for Busy Women”:  Elizabeth George shares God’s guidelines, practical disciplines and how-to ideas for improving the seven major areas of a woman’s life –spiritual, physical, home, financial, social, mental, ministry and time –in this book and accompanying study guide. This study will be facilitated by Linda Moyer and will meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at the church, beginning on Saturday, October 12th. If you would like to attend and have the book and study guide purchased for you, sign-up by Saturday, October 5th, the cost will be $23.
