Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a proven ministry and outreach to mother of young children in our community.  Meetings will be twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday mornings, September through May.

65 Alive

The Women’s 65 Alive group meets on the third Wednesday of each month (September through April) for a time of fellowship.  They typically share a “themed” luncheon and have a speaker.  65 Alive meets at the church beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Women’s Studies

“Overcoming Fear and Discouragement“: This study of the books Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther will be facilitated by Linda Moyer and will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the church on Saturdays, September 15th, 29th, October 13th, 27th, November 10th and December 8th. “Life of Elijah”: This ten-week Bible study began on September 20th and meets on Thursdays at the church. Donna Embree is facilitating this study be Dr. David Jeremiah which examines the incredible ministry of the prophet Elijah. Whether it is how to pray or how to wait for the leading of the Lord, this study reveals lessons that can be applied directly to your own life. Be prepared to be amazed at how much you have in common with this prophet of God. The study is from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Plan to arrive early if you wish to visit.

“Children of the Day”: The New Testament believers carried the Spirit of God as they walked along the shore of Thessalonica, just as you carry that light today. Your circumstances and conditions are not coincidental in the journey. God’s timing is impeccable. Join Beth Moore on the Thessalonica shores as you face real crises, real medical conditions, real affliction, real relationships, real doubts, real concerns and real fears. This study is nine weeks long and will be facilitated by Marlin Prins, meeting in her home on Tuesday evenings beginning October 16th at 7:00 p.m. Books are $15 and are available from Marlin. “Kitchen Table Counseling”: If you have a heart for helping hurting women and find them at your table, join us at ours as we gain Biblical insight and encourage one another. During this eight-week study, we will be going through a book called “Kitchen Table Counseling.” This study will meet on Wednesdays, 6:45-8:00 p.m., beginning on October 17th in outbuilding #3 at the church. for more information, contact Sommer Nielsen, 907-748-4163.
