Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a proven ministry and outreach to mother of young children in our community. Meetings will be twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday mornings, September through May.
The Women’s 65 Alive group meets on the third Wednesday of each month (September through April) for a time of fellowship. They typically share a “themed” luncheon and have a speaker. 65 Alive meets at the church beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Women Ministering to Women Prison Ministry
If you are interested in becoming qualified to join a team ministering at the Highland Mountain Correctional Center please contact Marge Evans at 907-414-6388.
A Women’s Bible Study titled “Discerning the Voice of God,” written by Priscilla Shirer of the War Room movie, meets on Thursdays, 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the church. There is no childcare available. Contact Donna Embree at 745-5196 if you have questions.
There will be a Women’s Life Group that will meet on Saturday mornings at the church at 9:00 a.m. The small group guide that will be part of Pastor Jason’s weekly sermon handout will be used. This will be a time to dig deeper and discover how to apply God’s Word. This life group will be facilitated by Linda Moyer. Remember, if you are unable to attend a service, Pastor Jason’s sermons are on LMBC’s website and you are able to listen to the audio recording.
