Lazy Mountain

Bible Church

"Therefore go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them all that I Have commanded you." Matthew 28:19

At Lazy Mountain Bible Church

our vision is "To Know Christ and to Make Him Known."

Lazy Mountain Bible Church honors God by building up Christians to live pleasing to God, and

equipping believers for ministry, while winning others to Jesus Christ.

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer...They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And God added to their number daily

(Acts 2:42-47 NIV)

Lazy Mountain Bible Church's Core Value Initiatives are Biblical Instruction, Worship, Prayer,

Mutual Encouragement (Community), Evangelism and Service.

We expect to have the technology in place to live stream the services for those individuals who are not able to attend. A live stream link will be provided through the various mediums that we have provided the link for our taped services.

We are asking that those attending services would show grace and love to each other. Please respect each other’s choice in choosing to wear a face covering and in practicing physical distancing. Face coverings will be optional.

Our meetings will look different. Everyone is asked to enter through the main entrance. We will have hand sanitizer and masks available. Staff has rearranged the sanctuary chairs to accommodate for the suggested physical distancing and families will be seated together. There will be no nursery or children’s Sunday School, children will remain with their families. The Welcome Team and Ushers will be available to assist individuals. The sanctuary will need to be prepared for the next service, so individuals will be asked to refrain from lingering in the building after the service, exiting the building through doors designated for only exiting.

Fellowshipping and mingling in the parking lot is encouraged.

Frontline Mission strives to strengthen the Mat-Su Valley area by being a connecting place between the less fortunate and compassionate as they unconditionally accept, holistically assist, and passionately advocate for our community neighbors who endure the causes and effects of poverty. Frontline Missions has reached out to ask that we have a food drive for them in May. They have seen an increase in families with needs during these recent months.

The items needed are crackers, canned vegetables, dried foods, canned meats, pasta and peanut butter. Items can be dropped off at Frontline Mission, 2001 Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. They ask that items be dropped off at the office or the items may be left on the porch during non office hours.

Or, if you prefer, items can be dropped off at the Lazy Mountain Bible Church at the office and we will be sure to take the items to Frontline Mission. If you wish to drop off at the church office, the office hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Thursday, 12:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Items can be placed in Outbuilding #2 or you can bring the items up the steps into the office, we would love to say Hi and thank you.
